Are you an outgoing, energetic individual with a passion for childcare and a knack for fostering creativity and development in young minds? This family is seeking a career nanny who is warm and engaging to join their busy household and become an integral part of their family team. Must drive and swim! 

About The Family: 
They're a discrete, busy family with two wonderful children: a 2-year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl who's in school most of the day. Mom and Dad work long hours outside the home but are very present and hands-on with their kids whenever they can be. They describe their home culture as an "all-in mentality" where everyone, (parents, kids, and staff), pitches in to support one another and pick up the slack if needed. A "can-do" attitude is much appreciated and they all come from a "where can I help" mindset to fill in for others if needed or if they see someone needs backup. Most importantly, the house runs smoothly and the kids are well taken care of. Family dinners are sacred to them, and they cherish the time they spend together.

Responsibilities:

• Care for a 2-year-old during the day, engaging him in play and age-appropriate activities.
• Drop off and/or pick up daughter from school.
• Plan and participate in play and outings to parks, playgrounds, community classes, lessons, and playdates.
• Light housekeeping duties including laundry, dishwasher, and tidying up after the kids.
• Incorporate developmental and educational activities into daily routines.
• Support swim lessons and ensure safety around the pool (must be an excellent swimmer).
• Join them for family vacations, including a month-long stay in the Hamptons in August.

Requirements:

• Outgoing and genuinely engaged with children.
• High energy and able to match the enthusiasm of our talkative and active kids.
• Comfortable with developmental play and imaginative activities.
• Excellent swimmer with comfort around water (there is a pool in the building).
• Valid driver's license and willingness to drive.
• Ability to travel with the family.
• Willingness to occasionally stay overnight.
• Ideal schedule: 6:45 AM to 3:45 PM with potential for overtime.

Position Responsibilities

• Childcare: 02 Children, Ages 2 years (B) and 5 years (G)
• Housekeeping: Light Housekeeping Required
• Cooking: Help Start/Prep for Dinner, Children's Meals, Family Meals
• Laundry: Yes
• Errands: As Needed
• Driving: Required – Safe, clean driving record.
• Travel: Required

Position Requirements

• Work Hours: Ideal Schedule would be M-F, 6:45 AM – 3:45 PM, Opportunity for Overtime as needed
• Languages: English
• Experience: 05 Years of Experience
• References: Minimum of 2 References
• Background: Pass stringent background checks and drug testing upon offer of hire.

Position Compensation

• Salary: $40+/hour on payroll, DOE, Negotiable for the right candidate
• Living Accommodations: Live Out
