Housekeeper
**Job Title:** Housekeeper
**Location:** Tampa & Clearwater, FL
**Schedule:** Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
**Compensation:** $35 – $40 per hour
**Benefits:** Health Insurance, 2 Weeks PTO, 6 Major Holidays
**Position Overview:**
A family is seeking a dedicated and reliable housekeeper to maintain two homes located in Tampa and Clearwater, FL. The houses are one hour apart, and you will typically work on one home per day. The role involves a variety of cleaning and organizational tasks, with additional responsibilities including laundry, garage, and patio cleaning.
**Responsibilities:**
– Perform regular cleaning tasks (vacuuming, dusting, mopping, etc.) for a beach house (5,000 sq ft) and a larger residence (8,000 sq ft).
– Clean and organize garage and patio areas.
– Laundry duties (washing, folding, ironing).
– Ensure both homes are always clean, organized, and well-maintained.
– Manage light organizational tasks as needed.
– Occasionally assist with grocery shopping and meal preparation when the family assistant is unavailable.
– Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization across both homes.
– Communicate effectively with the family, other staff members, and contractors.
**Requirements:**
– Must have reliable transportation (car) as you will be traveling between Tampa and Clearwater.
– Ability to work independently and be proactive in addressing the needs of the household.
– A “will do it all” attitude with a commitment to providing excellent service.
– Strong attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
– Experience in managing laundry and light meal preparation is preferred.
– Ability to handle cleaning both a large home and smaller areas efficiently.
– Must be comfortable with occasional changes in duties depending on the family assistant’s schedule.
– Positive, respectful, and professional attitude.
**Additional Information:**
– **Work Location:** Split between two homes: one in Tampa and one in Clearwater. Most cleaning will be done in Tampa, with compensation provided for travel to Clearwater.
– **Family Environment:** This is a very respectful and fair family who values kindness and professionalism. They understand the scope of work and do not expect one person to manage cleaning an 8,000 sq ft home in one day.
