Location: Brooklyn, NY 11201
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Pay: $25-30/hr DOE

Job Overview:
A kind and welcoming single mother is looking for a reliable, responsible, and caring housekeeper/nanny to help manage her household and occasionally care for her 11-year-old son after school (mainly helping get to activities). She shares custody with the child’s father, so assistance is needed primarily during the mother's time. The family lives in a 3,000 sq ft home with one cat, so comfort around pets is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Housekeeping: Perform full housekeeping and daily cleaning tasks, such as vacuuming, dusting, laundry, and tidying up. Maintain overall cleanliness and organization of the home.
• Cooking: Prepare simple healthy meals and snacks for the family.
• Childcare: Occasionally watch over the 11-year-old boy when he returns from school, ensuring a safe and fun environment. Assist with light homework and transportation, if needed.
• Errands: Run occasional errands like grocery shopping and other household-related tasks.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in housekeeping and childcare, preferably with older children.
• Ability to cook simple, nutritious meals.
• Comfortable with pets (they have a cat).
• Organized, dependable, and trustworthy.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Additional Info:
The family is warm and easygoing, looking for someone to become a long-term part of their home. They have had two long-term employees in the past. If you are organized, nurturing, and love working with kids, this could be a great fit!
