Full-Time Housekeeper (Animal-Loving, Experienced & Reliable)

Location: Westport, Connecticut 

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Compensation: 80,000-85,000 + Generous Holiday Bonus

A private household is seeking a mature, discreet, and highly reliable full-time housekeeper to maintain a large residence (15,000 sq. ft. on 6.2 acres). The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys caring for a well-kept home, loves animals (especially cats and dogs), and is seeking a long-term position with a kind and respectful employer.

This is a low-drama, quiet home environment best suited for someone who is detail-oriented, self-directed, honest, and appreciates structure and routine. You should be comfortable working independently in a large home where the principal is often busy or working on the property.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily general housekeeping: tidying, laundry,  ironing, organization

• Maintain household cleanliness and presentation to a high standard

• Care for furnishings, surfaces, and household items with attention to detail

• Trash removal, light errands as needed

• Feeding and caring for household cats, including occasional weekend visits when the principal is away

• Notifying the employer of maintenance issues or supply needs
