Live-in Housekeeper

Reliable, Experienced Live-In Housekeeper Needed in Longboat Key, FL and Wichita, KS!

A private older couple with homes in Longboat Key, FL, and Wichita, KS, is looking to hire a dog-friendly Live-in Housekeeper. The couple has one friendly dog…a 2-year-old Labradoodle. The couple has fenced-in backyards at both properties for the dog. They spend winters in FL and summers in KS, so you'll need to travel between the two homes with them. They fly privately. Separate apartments will be provided at both locations for the Live-in Housekeeper.

They spend the summers (approx. June 1 to Nov. 1) in Kansas on their large ranch and the rest of the year in Florida. In Kansas, they have various animals on the property and there is separate staff who takes care of them.

The Florida residence is approximately 13,000 Sq. Ft. and the Kansas residence is 12,000 Sq. Ft. You will be the sole Housekeeper in both homes but very little of each home is used as just the two principals are living there.

Position Responsibilities

• Housekeeping: Full Housekeeping Required
• Cooking: No Cooking Required – The principals cook for themselves.
• Laundry: Family Laundry
• Ironing: Yes
• Serving: Very rarely but may have to assist with one party a year and occasional holidays
• Errands: Dry Cleaners; Post Office, Etc.
• Driving: Own Car…Driving not required but would be a huge plus!
• Travel: Domestic Travel Required between Florida and Kansas, they fly privately and you would accompany them.

Position Requirements

• Work Hours: 9am – 5pm Monday – Friday; Live-In is full time even on the weekends if care is needed for the dog (to be requested in advance).
• Languages: English
• Experience: 5+ Years of Experience
• References: Minimum of 2 References
• Background: Pass stringent background checks and drug testing upon offer of hire.

Position Compensation

• Salary: $75,000-$85,000 Annually, DOE, Negotiable for the right candidate
• Living Accommodations: Separate apartments are provided at both locations. Each with a private bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living area and washer/dryer.
