Nanny

Start Date: Ideally beginning of May; no later than mid-June 2025!

Schedule: Monday–Thursday: 7:30 AM- 4:30 PM, Friday: 7:30 AM – 12:30 PM. 40 hours/week guaranteed; ability to work up to 45 hours/week, as needed.

About the Family:
A warm and welcoming family in Aldie, VA is seeking a full-time nanny to provide attentive, nurturing care for their 8-month-old son. Their son is a sweet & happy baby. The family also has three older daughters (ages 8, 7, and 3.5), all enrolled in full-time school/ aftercare, and camps throughout teh summer. The nanny's primary focus will be caring for the baby year round. Additionally, the family has a weekly housekeeper, and mom works from home in a private office on Mondays and Fridays, with flexibility for your start and end time.

Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive and loving care for the infant throughout the day
• Support a consistent nap schedule with crib-based sleep
• Prepare age-appropriate meals/snacks for the baby
• Light housekeeping related to the children (tidying play areas, washing bottles/dishes, children’s laundry)

Ideal Candidate:

• Calm & nurturing, and brings a peaceful, grounding presence to the home
• Prior experience with infants and toddlers, with strong references
• Familiar with Montessori principles or open to learning
• Seeking a long-term role (3+ years) with a family they can grow alongside

Compensation & Benefits:

• $30/hour, $62,400/year paid through a payroll service
• 2 weeks of paid vacation,
• 1 week of paid sick leave 
• paid major holidays
• overtime paid at time-and-a-half for hours worked over 40 per week
