A warm, active family in Newtown, PA is seeking an exceptional, career housekeeper to join their household team. This live-out, full-time position is ideal for someone who brings a meticulous, museum-quality standard of care, operates with complete independence, and takes genuine pride in their craft. The home is well-kept and well-run, and the family is seeking someone who will elevate and maintain this standard with care, consistency, and discretion.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (40 hours/week)

• Occasional evening or weekend flexibility for entertaining or hosting guests

About the Role
This is a hands-on, full-charge housekeeping role for a candidate who understands the rhythm of a busy household with young children and can maintain a pristine, orderly home without requiring daily oversight. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and deeply experienced in private homes, bringing both polish and warmth to their work.

Core Responsibilities

• Complete household cleaning with museum-level detail: vacuuming, mopping, polishing, dusting, and deep cleaning as needed

• Daily care and upkeep of all bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas

• Laundry management, including ironing of garments, bed linens, and delicate fabrics

• Maintenance and cleaning of family vehicles (interior only), strollers, and car seats

• Light meal prep: washing and chopping produce, marinating proteins, assembling family-friendly snacks

• Inventorying and ordering household and pantry items, including groceries and cleaning supplies

• Preparing the home for guests, including guest room refresh and entertaining support

• Packing and unpacking for family travel with care and efficiency

• Liaising with vendors and service providers (landscapers, pool technicians, etc.)

• Experienced in high-standard private homes with 5+ years of long-term placements

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of private home housekeeping experience (museum-quality or estate-level standards preferred)

• Excellent, long-term professional references

• Legal to work in the U.S.

• Must drive and have a clean driving record

Compensation & Benefits
