Housekeeper

Family in Wyckoff, New Jersey -Bergen County looking to hire a Live Out Housekeeper for their home. Home is 3,500 square feet.

The Ideal Candidate: Someone who has experience cleaning homes for families with children.  Keep the home clean throughout the day. Housekeeper should have knowledge on how to prioritize their time throughout the week, set reminders to have certain tasks completed monthly, seasonly, annually, etc. For instance- for high windows- call the vendor and schedule the appt for them to come.

What Works Best for Family: A housekeeper who pays attention to how the family likes things. After cleaning put things back where they were and use common sense. Ensure the kitchen and home is cleaned before departingPay attention to the items in the home and when they are low, alert the family (paper towels, toilet paper, etc)

Position Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Responsible for performing all daily housekeeping duties on a regular schedule to ensure the cleanliness and organization throughout the home.
• In charge of laundry related tasks including proper laundering, stain removal, identifying repairs, as well as managing dry cleaning. Must be experienced and diligent about proper fabric care.
• Maintain household cleaning supplies, toiletries and back stock, communicating the need for replenishment in a timely manner.
• Run errands

Position Compensation

• Salary: $32-$36 per hour
• Living Accommodations: Live Out
• Vacation: 2 weeks
