Private Family Seeking a Nanny/Housekeeper

We are a warm, organized, and disciplined family looking to hire a high-stamina nanny/housekeeper to assist with after-school care and household responsibilities.

The Ideal Candidate

They need someone who is energetic, efficient, and able to multitask. The children are 4 and 7.5 years old, and they are looking for a caregiver who is cautious, loving, and engaging. Since they maintain a clean and minimal home, they need a nanny/housekeeper who can keep up with daily household tasks and cook simple, healthy meals for the children. The husband and the wife also contribute to housekeeping in the late afternoon and evening, so they value teamwork and open communication.

The main challenge with past employees has been pace and stamina—we need someone who can keep up with an active household and complete tasks efficiently.

Position Details

Requested Duration: 4+ years preferred

About the Family:

• Adults: 2
• Children: 2 (Ages 4 and 7.5)
• Current Staff:
  • Full-time weekday nanny
  • Part-time weekend nanny
  • House cleaner (deep cleaning once a week)

Responsibilities

Childcare:

• Afterschool care for two children (ages 4 & 7.5)

Housekeeping:

• Shared housekeeping responsibilities
• Keeping common areas tidy daily

Cooking:

• Preparing simple, nutritious meals for the children

Laundry:

• Family laundry, including hand-washing delicates

Errands:

• Weekly grocery shopping

Driving:

• Required (must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record)

Position Requirements

• Work Hours: 1:30 PM – 7:30 PM
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years (childcare & housekeeping)
• References: Minimum of 2 professional references
• Background Check: Required upon a contingent offer of hire
• Languages: Open to candidates fluent in [Preferred Language(s)]

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $30 – $33/hr per hour paid through payroll
• Living Accommodations: Live-Out
• Health Insurance: Yes
