Location: Greenwich, CT (with travel to Europe & Asia)
Salary: $120,000 – $140,000 per year (Depending on experience)
Start Date: April/May 2025

A family in Greenwich, CT, (relocation provided) seeks a structured Governess for their 11-year-old son, who will transition to homeschooling. The student is bright and engaging, with ADHD and anxiety. The role requires someone confident in managing his education while maintaining structure and consistency. Some engagement with a younger sibling after school is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee homeschooling, ensuring he stays on grade level.

• Develop and follow an educational plan with structured learning.

• Implement ADHD-friendly strategies with firm but positive boundaries.

• Coordinate with tutors/therapists as needed.

• Establish a structured daily schedule.

• Travel with the family (Europe & Asia, expenses covered).

• Occasional babysitting 

Qualifications & Experience

• Middle school teaching or homeschooling experience required

• Familiarity with ADHD/anxiety learning strategies.

• Strong leadership and structure.

• Firm but nurturing approach.

• Willingness to travel.

• Valid driver’s license (car provided).

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $120,000 – $140,000 (depending on experience)

• Vacation: 4+ weeks paid
