Summer Live In Nanny

Job Title:  Nanny (Live-In)

Location: East Hampton, NY

Job Type: Full-Time, Live-In (July, August and September)

Compensation: $35–$45/hour (based on experience)

Position Overview:

A family expecting their first baby in June is seeking a nurturing and experienced nanny to assist with newborn care in East Hampton. This live-in role requires someone who understands when to step in and when to give the mother space. A quiet, caring, and attentive personality is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on newborn care (feeding, diapering, soothing).
• Maintain and clean baby-related items.
• Monitor infant development (tummy time, reading, etc.).
• Light housekeeping (laundry, tidying baby’s area, dishes).
• Meal prep and hydration support for mom.
• Run errands as needed.
• Assist with doctor’s appointments if required.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experienced in newborn care (nanny, postpartum doula, or similar).
• Warm, patient, and respectful of family dynamics.
• Knowledgeable in infant milestones and postpartum care.
• Comfortable with dogs and occasional dog walking.
• CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain).
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
