Job Title: Full-Time Housekeeper
Location: Long Island, NY (North Hills area)
Salary: $80,000 – $100,000+ per year (Flexible DOE)

Ideal Candidate:

We are seeking a reliable, organized, and proactive full-time housekeeper to join a private family in the North Hills area of Long Island. The ideal candidate will have extensive housekeeping experience and be skilled in managing high-end residences. They should be detail-oriented, with a strong focus on cleanliness, organization, and maintaining the home’s pristine condition. The candidate should be comfortable working independently while being a team player who can collaborate with other household staff. 

What Works Best for the Family:

The family is seeking a dedicated housekeeper for a 40-hour workweek, four days a week, typically working around 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM,  M, W, TH, and F. Flexibility is important to adjust as necessary based on the family’s needs. The housekeeper will be responsible for all housekeeping duties, including caring for designer clothing, laundry, and meal preparation and some cooking. A background in managing fine household items and a strong work ethic will ensure success in this role. A long-term commitment is highly desired.

Position Responsibilities:

• Full housekeeping duties, including managing laundry, organizing, and maintaining a 3-bedroom residence.
• Care for designer clothing and ensuring all clothing and items are kept in top condition.
• Light cooking, primarily breakfast and lunch, with occasional dinner
• Managing household inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
• Keeping the home organized and ensuring all areas are cleaned to the highest standard.

Position Requirements:

• Work Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 9-10 hour days (40 hours) typically working around 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Experience: 5+ years in high-end housekeeping or related roles
• References: Minimum of 2-3 professional references
• Background: Must pass background checks and drug testing
• Personality Traits: Organized, proactive, and flexible with a high attention to detail
• Languages: Fluent in English

Position Compensation:

• Salary: $80,000 – $100,000+ per year (Flexible DOE)
