Job Description: Live-In and Live-Out Housekeepers for UHNW Townhouse on the Upper East Side

We are seeking two exceptional housekeepers—one live-in and one live-out—to join a prestigious household located in a seven-floor townhouse on the Upper East Side (78th Street between Madison and 5th). This family-oriented home includes four children (ages 10–16) who reside 50% of the time and a small dog that also requires care on a part-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of household cleaning, deep cleaning, and organization.
• Provide excellent serving skills for occasional family or guest meals.
• Cook light meals and assist with food preparation as needed.
• Manage laundry and ironing with exceptional attention to detail.
• Assist with children when required, offering flexibility and a nurturing demeanor.
• Care for a small dog, including walking, feeding, and general well-being.
• Navigate and utilize smart home systems effectively.
• Follow a cleaning and household maintenance schedule while being proactive in completing tasks.
• Collaborate with household staff and demonstrate a team-oriented attitude.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

• Extensive experience working in NYC townhouses or with ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) families; Hamptons experience is a plus.
• Exceptional cleaning, deep cleaning, and organization skills.
• Proficient in cooking and serving, with attention to household preferences.
• Strong laundry and ironing skills, including care for delicate fabrics.
• Comfort working with children (ages 10–16) and assisting as needed.
• Experience caring for pets, specifically small dogs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with technology and smart home systems.
• Polished presentation and a mild, professional demeanor.
• Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules and workloads.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently when necessary.
• Strong physical energy to handle busy periods when the family is in full residence.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly Rate: $30–$40/hour (based on experience and qualifications).
• Overtime: Paid for hours over 60/week.
• Annual Compensation: $110,000–$150,000/year.
• Healthcare Reimbursement: $70/week after 3 months of employment.
• PTO: 15 days annually, with flexibility for unpaid vacations.

Hiring Process
