Live-In or Out Housekeeper/Assistant on a Farm in MN

A private family in Gatzke, MN living on a farm seeks a trustworthy and organized Live-In or Live-Out Housekeeper/Family Assistant to help manage two homes.

Position Compensation

• Salary: $30-$40/hour (30-40 hours/week) DOE, Around 50-65K/year
• Living Accommodations: Live In or Live Out
• Vacation: 1-2 weeks PTO, 3 sick days, Major Holidays

The family includes a single mother and three boys, ages 21, 19, and 15 (the youngest is with her every other week). The mother’s 84-year-old mom resides in a separate house on the property. They need someone to assist with household management, housekeeping, errands, laundry, light cooking, and occasional driving.

This position is ideal for a self-motivated, upbeat individual with a healthy lifestyle and experience in household management or housekeeping. Someone who enjoys rural life and can adapt to a flexible environment will thrive in this role. The family values positivity, adaptability, and organization. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Full cleaning of two homes (approximately 2,000 sq ft each): daily light cleaning and occasional deep cleaning.
• Managing errands for both homes, grocery shopping, etc
• Laundry
• Light cooking/meal prep

Requested Duration: Ideally a year, possibly longer if it's a great fit.

Position Requirements

• Work Hours: 30-40 hours/week, usuallly between the hours of 9:00 am – 5:00 pm M-F
• Languages: English
• Experience: 2+ Years of Experience
• References: Minimum of 2 References
• Background: Background check upon contingent offer of hire
• Personality Traits: Positivity, adaptability, and organization
