Location: Roslyn, NY
Schedule:

• Days: Monday – Friday
• Hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: $35–$40/hour (paid through payroll).
• Paid Time Off: 2 weeks of PTO and 6 major holidays off.
• Health Insurance: Available after 90 days of employment.

A loving and responsible family in Roslyn, NY, is seeking a compassionate and reliable person to assist their elderly parents, aged 86 and 82. This role involves providing daily support, maintaining the household, and ensuring their well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Driving & Transportation:

  • Drive the mother to appointments, errands, and other engagements during the day while the father is at work.
  • Ensure safe and reliable transportation using the provided vehicle.

• Household Assistance:

  • Perform light housekeeping tasks.
  • Grocery shopping and running errands.
  • Prepare light meals as needed.

• Schedule Coordination:

  • Manage the family calendar, coordinate appointments, and assist with scheduling.

• Travel Assistance:

  • Accompany the couple on occasional weekend trips to upstate New York.

• Pet Care (Future):

  • Be comfortable with dogs, as the family is considering getting one.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel for occasional weekend trips.
• Experience working with elderly clients preferred.
• Strong organizational skills to manage schedules and appointments.
• Ability to perform light household duties and cook simple meals.
• Comfort around dogs and willingness to help care for one if the family decides to get one.
• A kind, patient, and dependable personality.
