Position: Rotational Nanny (7 Days On / 7 Days Off)
Location: Palisades, NY (25 minutes from NYC)
Schedule: Rotational, 7 days on / 7 days off. Flexibility required for travel.

Job Overview:
A loving, energetic, and highly educated Rotational Nanny is sought to care for two young children—a 5-year-old and a 3-year-old. The family values a nanny who can intellectually engage with their bright and curious 5-year-old, while supporting the 3-year-old's developmental needs, including speech delay. The role involves active involvement, educational engagement, and willingness to participate in physical activities like swimming, skiing, and camping.

Responsibilities:

• Childcare:
  • 12:30p Start Time – 7:30/8:00 End Time
  • 3 year old comes home from preschool to nap at 1:00-3:00 and then goes back to school for afternoon lesson
  • Provide educational activities, intellectual stimulation, and emotional support for the 5-year-old & 3-year-old.
  • Assist the 3-year-old with speech development and ensure adherence to her routine.
• Activity Planning:
  • Plan and participate in active outings, playtime, and enriching experiences such as swimming, skiing, and other family-oriented activities.
  • Support weekend and summer travel, ensuring smooth transitions for the children.
• Household Support:
  • Help with light tidying and organizational tasks during school hours 
  • Coordinate with the family to prepare for school activities, and other engagements.

Qualifications:

• Strong background in early childhood education, with experience supporting advanced learning and speech development.
• Active and energetic personality; enjoys outdoor activities and physical engagement with children.
• Flexibility to adapt to a rotational schedule and frequent weekend travel.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building a strong relationship with a bright and sensitive 5-year-old.
• Valid driver’s license; comfortable navigating school drop-offs and activities.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary: $100,000 annually 
• Full benefits package, including PTO and vacation time.
• No live-in requirement; occasional overnight stays as needed.
