Housekeeper

A private family in Gladwyne, PA is seeking an experienced and professional Housekeeper to join their household as soon as possible. The role requires a detail-oriented individual who can provide consistent, high-quality cleaning and household support within their home. The housekeeper must be comfortable & proactive in handling various housekeeping tasks.

Duties Include:

• Floor Care: Mopping and vacuuming hardwood floors every other day.
• Baseboards: Regular cleaning.
• Kitchen Cleaning: Clean the refrigerator, oven, microwave, drying rack, reverse osmosis machine, and humidifier.
• Laundry: Daily laundry, including washing linens & towels weekly
• Bathroom Cleaning: Regular cleaning of all bathrooms (half bath, master bath, and three additional bathrooms upstairs), including mildew treatment in showers once a month and rust removal from sinks.
• Pet Care: Walking the family dog when needed (Cavalier King Charles)
• Fish Tank Maintenance: Clean and maintain the household fish tank.
• Child Safety: Ensure outlet covers are placed back in outlets after use.
• Grocery Shopping & Meal Prep: Assist with grocery shopping and light meal prep as needed. The family utilizes a catering service but may require light cooking assistance.

Additional Details:

• Other Household Staff: 1 Nanny and 1 Family Assistant.
• Working Hours: M-F 40 hours per week, (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) 
• Compensation: $30-35 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Housekeeper in private households.
• Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Must be comfortable working with audio/visual monitoring in the home.
• Able to work independently and proactively.
• Must love dogs and be comfortable with light pet care duties.
