Full-Time Nanny/Housekeeping Needed in Miami, FL

Position: Nanny/Housekeeper

Location: Miami, FL

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 1:30 PM – 8:30 PM
• Every other Saturday: 12:00 PM – 8:00/9:00 PM (flexible hours)
• Totaling to 40 hours per week. 

Compensation:

• $25 per hour (flexible for higher rates based on experience)
• 1 week PTO
• Sick Days
• Paid Major Holidays

Busy parents in Miami, FL are seeking a creative and dependable nanny to care for their 5 year old child. The ideal candidate will be someone who can take initiative, provide a stimulating environment for the child, and assist with light household duties. The role includes homework help, creative meal planning, and limiting screen time by organizing engaging activities.

Responsibilities:

• Childcare Duties:
  • Pick up the child from school (walking distance) at 1:50 PM.
  • Provide after-school snacks and help with homework..
  • Engage the child in creative activities that minimize screen time, such as swimming, crafts, and educational projects.
  • Encourage the child to try new foods by preparing creative meals and snacks for him. Dinner is served between 6:00 – 6:30 PM.
  • Help with the evening routine, including bath time and preparing for bed.
• Household Duties:
  • Complete full child's laundry and help with light parent laundry.
  • Assist with light housekeeping/tidying. 

Requirements:

• Fluent in English for homework assistance and communication.
• Must take initiative, be creative, and manage tasks independently, as the mother does not micromanage.
• Must have reliable transportation.  Ability to drive child is necessary' however, walking distant activities are preferred.
• Comfortable with walking to school for pick-up.
• Stringent background, driving, and drug screenings will be run upon offer of position/trial. 

Additional Information:

• The parents are very busy and require someone who can smoothly integrate into their routine.
• The household does not have pets, and a cleaner comes once a month.
