Family Assistant Needed in Irvington, NY

Position:  Family Assistant/Childcare

Location: Irvington, NY
Hours: 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM (with potential for full-time 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM if needed)
Start Date: ASAP

We are a family of four with two children, ages 6 and 10, seeking a dedicated Family Assistant/After School Care/Housekeeper. We are looking for someone who is kind, loving, and enjoys spending time with children, as well as someone who is detail-oriented and can manage household tasks effectively.

The role involves arriving at 2:00 PM. At 2:30 PM, you will need to fetch our 6-year-old from the bus stop down the street and provide him with a snack. By 3:30 PM, you will greet our 10-year-old when she walks home from school or, on some days, drive her if necessary. From 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, you will be responsible for driving the children to various local activities using our car. At 6:00 PM, you will help with light meal prep and assist with supervising the kids. Finally, at 7:00 PM, you will clean up the dinner dishes. Some days when you're not needed to drive the kids you would focus more on cleaning up/errands, etc.

We value someone who is quiet and discreet, with a positive attitude and a willingness to take on various tasks as needed. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently, think on their feet, and handle responsibilities with efficiency. We hope to find someone who will be a dedicated and long-term member of our household team.

Position Compensation
