Live In Nanny/Housekeeper

Job Title: Full-Time Nanny/Housekeeper

Location: Summit, NJ

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Overview: A busy family in Summit, NJ is seeking a dedicated and flexible Nanny/Housekeeper to join their household. The family consists of four children: a 19-month-old, a 3-year-old, an almost 5-year-old, and an almost 11-year-old. While the older children are in school for most of the day, the youngest child is home with mom. The family is currently living in a temporary residence while their new home is being built next door, and they need someone who can assist with both childcare and keeping the home tidy in between cleaners. 

Responsibilities:

• General housekeeping duties, including cleaning, tidying, and laundry
• Helping with light meal preparation or cooking as needed
• Assisting with childcare, primarily caring for the 19-month-old when needed
• Supporting the stay-at-home mom by taking over with the baby during after-school activities with the older children
• Being proactive in household tasks, such as organizing and maintaining a clean environment
• Assisting with school drop-offs/pickups and driving the children to activities (if needed)
• Flexibility in helping with the children, including occasional supervision of the older ones when necessary

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a housekeeper and/or nanny
• Must be comfortable and enjoy working with children
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work in a home that is undergoing temporary relocation
• Proactive, organized, and dependable
• Ability to take initiative and manage household tasks efficiently
