Live-in Executive Housekeeper Opportunity: Join a Wonderful Couple in the Hamptons, NY, and Palm Beach, FL – OCTOBER START DATE!
Are you a mature, experienced professional with a positive demeanor and a love for dogs? A wonderful couple, whose base is in Palm Beach, FL, is seeking a dedicated live-in Executive Housekeeper to join their household, splitting time between Palm Beach, FL, and the Hamptons each year.
Details:
- Interviews begin in early October, with a start date in mid-October (earlier for the right fit)
- Flexibility to adjust to the seasonal shifts between the Hamptons, NY (could be an alternate location next year) and Palm Beach, FL
Key Qualities:

- Meticulous with high attention to detail
- Proactive and notices when things need to be done without being asked
- Loves dogs (the family has two minimally-shedding Italian Spinones)
Responsibilities:
- Full housekeeping duties, including laundry and ironing (linens included).
- Meal prep and clean-up after meals
- Water and maintain plants
- Pet care: walking, feeding, and staying with the dogs when the couple is out of town
- Help with outdoor cleaning tasks (kitchen, pool house, towels, etc.)
- Manage inventory of food and supplies
- Tackle organizational projects as needed
- Maintain your own living space to a high standard
- Assist when the couple has guests for dinner or visits
- Flexibility – Domestic travel required between Palm Beach, FL, and the Hamptons (location may change depending on where the couple decides to be for the summer/fall).

Home SQFT: Palm Beach, FL – Approx. 7,000 Sq. Ft.; Hamptons is a rental this year so may change next summer.
Position Requirements
- Work Hours: – What currently works best for the couple is: M-F, 7:30 am to 8:00 pm with a 2.5-3 hour break in the middle of the day (i.e. 12:30-3/3:30), and Saturdays, 8:00 to Noon – Family is flexible on the hours but would prefer a 50-55 hour week.
- Languages: Must be able to communicate well in English
- Experience: 05 Years of Experience
- References: Minimum of 2 References
- Background: Background check upon a contingent offer of hire
- Personality Traits: Positive, proactive, hard-working, friendly, discreet, conscientious, responsible, flexible, reliable, welcoming, calm demeanor, exceptional attention to detail, and loves dogs!
Position Compensation
- Salary: $35-40/hour, DOE, Negotiable for the right candidate
- Living Accommodations: Live-In – Private Bed/Private Bath in both locations
