Part time Housekeeper

Position: Part-Time Housekeeper/Family Assistant (25 hours)

Location: Washington, DC

Rate: $30/hour + DOE

Schedule:

• Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 12 PM – 7 PM
• Friday: 2 PM – 6 PM

Family Overview:
We are a busy Kosher family of six. Two 17-year-old twins and a 13-year-old; oldest is in college. We're looking for a friendly and reliable Housekeeper/Family Assistant to help our household run smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Housekeeping: General cleaning and tidying of the home to maintain a neat and organized environment.
• Laundry: Washing, folding, and putting away clothes and linens.
• Errands: Grocery shopping, returning items, and other errands as needed.
• Meal Preparation: Assist with meal prep, including chopping vegetables and preparing ingredients, with a focus on Friday for Shabbat dinner.
• School Pick-Up: Occasional pick-up of children from school.
• Kosher Kitchen: While kosher experience is preferred, it is not required; however, a willingness to learn and respect kosher practices is essential.

Requirements:

• Driver's License: Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. The family car is available for all job-related driving.
• Flexibility: Ability to be flexible with hours if needed.
• Discretion: Must maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care.
• Personality: Friendly, upbeat, and positive demeanor.
