Housekeeper

Family of four living in Brooklyn, New York looking to hire a full time housekeeper who is excellent at laundry.

The Ideal Candidate: Someone who likes to start their day early!  At 7am you would arrive and walk/feed the family's labradoodle. Followed by preparing a light breakfast for the children (waffles, avocado toast, cereal).Once the children are off to school, the day would consist of deep detailed cleaning of the home and laundry for the family. Must be great at folding, steaming, and ironing. This individual would manage vendors that come to the home as well as making sure the home is stocked with all required items.  Household does not use chemical cleaning products. House has 5 stories so need to be able to handle stairs. Operate and maintain cleaning equipment. Empty trash bins and recycling. Coordination of Dry Cleaning. When family travels (not very often) packing/unpacking for travel. Closet organization. 

What Works Best for Family: Would like someone friendly and low-key who will be personable with the family and get along with our nanny. Must be ok with our wonderful labradoodle. Want someone who respects being on time and shows great responsibility and discretion.

• Work Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM- Monday-Friday **Start time is flexible- could be anywhere from 7am-9am*****

Position Compensation

• Salary: $35-$40 per hour- dependent on experience
• Living Accommodations: Live Out
• Vacation: 2 weeks
• Additional Benefits: Federal holidays off
