Housekeeper/After School Care

Loving dad about to move into a new home in Lloyd Harbor, New York looking to hire a Nanny/Personal Assistant to assist him and his girls (ages 11 and 14). This position would start around October and would be in person and remote.

The Ideal Candidate: Help with errands, facilitate care for pre-teen and teen age children, meal prep, etc so the children are setup for independence and success. Assist me with personal objectives, tasks around the house, etc

What Works Best for Family: Decisive, calming, positive, problem solver, critical thinker, ability to laugh, resourceful, current on culture and events.

Position Responsibilities

• Childcare: 2 Children, Ages 11 and 14
• Housekeeping: Light Housekeeping Required
• Cooking: Help Start/Prep for Dinner,Plain Cooking Required,
• Laundry: Required
• Errands: Dry Cleaners; Post Office,Etc.
• Driving: Required
• Travel: No Travel Required

Position Requirements

• Work Hours: Every Wednesday and Thursdays 2-6pm in person, alternating  Fridays 2-6. The other hours during the week would be remote, running errands, grocery shopping, etc. – totaling 24 hours per week.

• References: Minimum of 2 References
• Background: Pass stringent background checks and drug testing upon offer of hire
• Personality Traits: Someone resourceful – for example if dad says, "can you help me find 3 options of places for me to take the girls this weekend?"  This person knows how to research ideas. Dad is purchasing a new home and will need help buying furniture, dishes, etc. Would love help.
