Live Out Nanny/Housekeeper In Washington, D.C.

We are looking for a nanny/housekeeper to join a very loving family in Washington, DC, consisting of two young and energetic children aged 3 and 5 years old, along with their devoted parents. They are looking for someone who will become part of the family. The mother has some health issues and has to undergo few surgeries. They also have a dog and other family members have dogs so being comfortable with pets is important.

Responsibilities:

1. Afternoon and Evening Responsibilities (2:00 PM – 9:00 PM):

   • Perform housekeeping tasks including laundry, vacuuming common areas, grocery shopping, dinner prep.
   • Pick up the children from school at around 3:30PM (Monday to Thursday)
   • Plan activities for the children (park, library, etc.) or take them to pre-scheduled activities such as soccer
   • Bring children home around 5:30PM and unpack their bags and the car
   • Bathe children and get them dressed for bed
   • Support parent/s during dinner time depending on who is home
   • Support with bedtime routine
   • Put the children to bed around 8:00 PM
   • Cleanup playroom and kitchen after bedtime

2. Flexibility:

   • Demonstrate flexibility with the schedule, accommodating changes with ample notice.
   • Be available to care for the children during school holidays or other occasions outside of regular hours.

Living Arrangements: The selected candidate will be provided with a separate living space within the house, which includes a 1st-floor apartment with its own entrance, a small kitchen, bedroom, living room, and a full bathroom.
Qualifications:

• Work Days: Sunday through Thursday
• Languages: English
• Experience: 5 Years of Experience
• References: Minimum of 2 References
• Background: Pass stringent background checks and drug testing upon offer of hire
• Driving: Required, car provided
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly wage of $35/hr. 40-50hrs / week
