Housekeeper

Two FULL TIME housekeepers needed in Midtown Manhattan for a busy individual, who travels between multiple residences. 

Job Description: As our Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our home. We prioritize attention to detail, care, and a gentle touch when it comes to housekeeping tasks. The ideal candidate will understand the importance of taking their time and performing tasks with love and care rather than rushing through them, causing potential damage to our belongings.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Laundry Care: Handle laundry tasks with utmost care, including proper folding, ironing, and separating clothes. Ensure clothes are hung neatly and organized. Knowledge of different fabrics and products to prevent damage is essential.

2. Cleaning: Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the home, paying close attention to detail. Carefully clean and organize all areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and living spaces.

3. Bed Making: Create perfectly made beds, ensuring crisp linens and meticulous attention to detail in presentation.

4. Product Knowledge: Be familiar with cleaning products and tools to prevent damage to surfaces and items in our home. Use appropriate cleaning agents for different surfaces.

5. Careful Handling: Handle all household items and decorations with the utmost care to avoid breakage or damage. Distinguish between wear and tear and accidental damage.

6. Additional Requests: Errands, etc. 

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a private household.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Friendly and accommodating personality with a love for pets.
• Respectful and discreet with a high level of integrity.
• Must be reliable and punctual.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9AM to 5PM. 40 hours/week

Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience, $35/hour
