Kid-friendly Housekeeper for a busy family of 5

Busy family of 5 with two full-time working parents is seeking to hire a Live-out Housekeeper who is kid friendly and who can assist with driving the kids to activities/school and help with bedtime when needed.  Dad works from home and mom works outside of the home.  The job is 95% housekeeping and 5% Nanny.  The family resides in a 10,000 square foot home in Scarsdale, NY.  The children are all school-aged and are 15, 13 and 11 so they are in school for the full day (they attend private school where they are not remote, all 5 days are spent at school).  The Ideal candidate will be loving, can follow daily tasks and able to multitask with a “get it done” attitude.   You must be an experienced housekeeper who can handle keeping the large home on a good cleaning schedule and also keep it organized.  The primary responsibilities of this position are keeping the house clean and organized (including laundry), driving the children to/from activities and school.  The family keeps a Kosher home.  Must have a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license. 

The main responsibilities are house cleaning and laundry.  No cooking or shopping required.  A few times a week they will need to drop-off and/or pick up kid(s) to/from after-school activities (all in the county – 10-25 minute drive radius). 
 
You will stays late M-W and clean the kitchen after dinner – which is absolutely wonderful and highly desirable.  So, there’s some flexibility – but these are the hours:

• M: 11:00a-7:30p
• Tu: 10:30a-7:00pm
• W: 10:00am-7:00pm
• Th: 10:00am-4:00pm
• Fri: 10:00am-4:30pm

 
Responsibilities:

• Full. detailed housekeeping
• Family laundry for 5
• Maintain communication between employer and parents
• Drive the children to/from activities after school.   You will drive your own car and be reimbursed for mileage.  

 Requirements:
·       Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
·       Calm, Relaxed and has a positive attitude.
·       Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
·       Possible Flexibility with hours due to parents work schedule.
·       Excellent references required from both current and previous employers
·       Minimum 5+ years related experience working in a private home(s) with a    similar background in private service.

Compensation:
    $38/hour 
    Holiday bonus
    Paid vacation and most national holidays
