Housekeeper/Nanny

A warm and welcoming family is seeking an experienced, Live-In Housekeeper/Nanny to join their household in Coral Gables, FL.

The family is looking for a dedicated Housekeeper/Nanny with a strong work ethic who communicates well and is an all-around team player. Someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is able to wear many different hats depending on what any given day brings or what is needed in the house and can handle various tasks with precision and care.

Primary responsibilities will include cleaning, laundry, making beds, changing linens, taking out the garbage, meal preparation, cooking, package handling, and household organization (pantries, closets, etc.). While minimal childcare is needed (they have 2 middle school-aged children), the best fit is someone who will be an additional nurturing presence in their home.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and a proactive problem-solver. They are not fans of micromanagement; instead, they appreciate an experienced, self-starter who takes initiative and adapts to changing needs. In return, you'll find a kind and easygoing atmosphere, where employees tend to stay with the family for the long haul. Must also be able to travel to the Hamptons in the summer. 

If you're organized, hardworking, and ready to contribute to a smoothly running household, they would love to welcome you into their family! Your main goal will be to ensure the household runs smoothly, and everything is neat and orderly, allowing that to alleviate some of the pressure from mom's shoulders.

Position Responsibilities

  • Childcare: 02 Children, Ages 11 years (B) and 13 years (G)
  • Housekeeping: Shared Housekeeping Required
  • Cooking: Plain Cooking Required, Children's Meals, Family Meals
  • Laundry: Family Laundry
  • Errands: No Errands Required
  • Driving: Required 
  • Travel: Domestic Travel Required – Must be able to travel to the Hamptons in the summer.

Position Requirements

  • Work Hours: – 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Languages: English – Must be able to speak English fluently and communicate well in English
  • Experience: 05 Years of Experience
  • References: Minimum of 2 References
  • Background: Pass stringent background checks and drug testing upon offer of hire
  • Personality Traits: Dedicated, reliable, hard-working, self-starter, organized, nurturing, kind, warm, flexible, adaptable, proactive and a great communicator. 

Position Compensation

  • Salary: $30-35+/hour, DOE, Negotiable for the right candidate. 
  • Living Accommodations: Live-In – Private bedroom and bathroom – NOTE: This can also be a Live-In/Live-Out situation if you live close by, where you can live in during the week and live out on the weekends. The family is open to having someone live in for less time.
  • Vacation: Yes
